Mubasher: Bilateral Trade between Qatar and Kuwait rose 8.7% to QAR 2.5 billion ($686.5 million) in 2017, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani, Qatar Chamber chairman, said on Wednesday.
The Qatari imports from Kuwait jumped 25% to QAR 789.6 million ($217 million) during 2017 from QAR 634.2 million ($174 million) a year earlier.
Al Thani noted that the Kuwaiti companies have contributed to meeting the needs of the Qatar’s market during its crisis with GCC countries brew in June 2017.
