Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Petroleum Company (QP) on Tuesday announced the official prices of Qatari ground and offshore oil for March 2017, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).
QP said that the ground oil price is $70.51 per barrel (pb) and $50.55 pb for the offshore, QNA said.
Qatari ground oil price rose 1.03% reaching $55.11 pb during February 2017, data released on 7 March showed.
Oil prices were $10.11 pb higher in February, compared to the price approved in the budget of 2017 of $45 pb, the statements stated.
Qatar approved the general budget for 2017, with a deficit of QAR 28.3 billion, and expected an increase in total revenues by 9.03%, as well as a 2.02% decrease in total expenditure.
By 02:36pm GMT, Brent crude for June delivery declined 0.11% to $55.92 pb, while West Texas Intermediate crude oil (Nymex) for May delivery fell 0.15% to $53 pb.
