Mubasher: Qatar Petroleum (QP) on Tuesday announced raising crude oil prices for January by rates ranging between 2.6% and 3%.
The price for Qatar land crude oil grew 2.6% to $59.95 per barrel (pb) in January, from $58.45 pb a month earlier, the state-run oil giant said.
In addition, the price for Qatar marine crude oil surged 3%, registering $59.45 pb last month, compared to $57.7 pb in December 2018.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar's minister of state for energy affairs Saad Al-Kaabi and US secretary of energy Rick Perry along with representatives from ExxonMobil and Golden Pass LNG are expected to announce a Qatari investment in the US.
