Mubasher: Qatar Petroleum has sold five cargos of Al Shaheen loading in March at lower premiums, trade sources told Reuters on Tuesday.
The state-owned petroleum company sold the cargo with an average of $0.83, down from more than 2-year highs seen in February, according to Reuters.
Three of the crude oil cargos were sold to Chinaoil, while Reliance Industries, India's largest listed company by market value, and Japan's biggest oil refiner JXTG received one each.
The average of each cargo is around 500,000 and 600,000 barrels.
Al Shaheen offshore oil field, Qatar’s largest oil field, contains 33 oil rigs and 400 wells, producing around 300,000 barrel per day (bpd).
