Qatar-Mubasher: Qatar Primary Materials on Sunday signed four contracts with Continental Trading, Qatar Engineering Alliance, Al-Baida Technical Services and Al-Bawaba for Raw Materials.
Under the contracts, the company will supply 19.98 million tonnes of gabbro and limestone over the next three years.
The supply, aimed at diversifying supply sources to secure the raw materials needed for the private and public sectors, will start in early 2016, the state's news agency reported.
The move will also boost the most important local sectors and achieve the sustainable development, in addition to maintaining the raw material prices locally and accelerate the economic development.
