Mubasher: Qatar Rail Company has completed around 90% of the first phase of Doha Metro, managing director and CEO Abdullah Al Subaie said.
Civil works have been finalised and the electromechanical works are being completed on the 37 stations.
Al Subaie stressed that the project plays a key role in building the sustainable future of Qatar.
The metro is set to be operated by 1 January 2020.
