Doha – Mubasher: Qatar-Singapore trade reached $6.4 billion (QAR 23.3 billion) in 2017, according to Qatar Chamber vice-chairman Mohamed bin Towar Al Kuwari.
Singapore is a preferred investment destination in which many Qatari businessmen are interested, the top official said, noting that the Qatar Chamber is looking to support cooperation between national and Singaporean companies.
Around 300 Singaporean firms currently operate in the Qatari market in a variety of sectors including banking, services, and construction, Al Kuwari concluded.
