Mubasher: Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, owned by Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, announced plans to sell 4.6% of its stake in Veolia Environnement SA.
Diar will sell about 26.1 million shares in the French company worth $640 million, Bloomberg reported citing the Qatari property development firm as saying.
The Qatar-based company will sell Veolia’s stake through an accelerated book building process. Diar will announce the results of the sale upon closing it.
