Doha – Mubasher: Total assets of banks operating in Qatar rose 2.4% to QAR 1.142 trillion ($313.547 billion) in March, compared to QAR 1.115 trillion ($306.133 billion), in February, according to statistics released by Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Thursday.
Total deposits also grew by 3.5% to QAR 661.52 billion ($181.63 billion) last month from QAR 639.14 million ($175.48 million) in February.
Loans and credit facilities reached QAR 776.72 billion ($213.26 billion) in March, rising 0.81% from QAR 770.5 billion ($211.55 billion) a month earlier.
