Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) witnessed a downtrend for the second successive week.
The general index lost 4.29% or 437.40 point to 9,748.78 points this week.
Al Rayan Islamic index went down 3.9% or to 3,810.42 points, while All Share index decreased 3.98% to 154.71 points.
Turnover fell 24.88% to QAR 1.32 billion this week, compared to QAR 1.76 billion last week.
Trading volume stood at 42.5 million shares, a decline of 30.06% from 60.76 million shares last week.
The telecom sector retreated 5.91%, followed by the real estate and insurance sectors at 5.70% and 4.58% in a row.
Widam Food Company was the worst performer with a 7.51% decrease, while Qatar for Cinema and Film Distribution topped gainers after adding 5.12%.
