Doha–Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a slide in Wednesday’s mid-trading session as the benchmark lost 1.01%, or 101.22 points, to 9,901.58 points.
Al Rayan Islamic Index and All-Share Index dipped 0.07% and 0.27% respectively.
Trading volume reached 5.07 million shares, exchanged in 2,910 transactions at a total turnover of QAR 158.17million.
Sector-wise, the industrial fell 0.75%, followed by the banking (-0.51%), transportation (-0.2%), and the insurance (-0.2%).
On the positive front, consumer goods headed advancers by 0.5%, and then came telecoms and real estate which rose 0.46% and 0.41%, respectively.
Tracking the stock movement, the worst losers were Al Khalij Commercial Bank (-5.36%) and Masraf Al Rayan (-4.34%), while the best advancers were Islamic Holding Group (+13%) and Gulf Warehousing (+4.4%).
