Doha – Mubasher: Qatar bourse finished Tuesday on a higher note as the main index advanced 0.5% to 9,977.76 points.
Trading volumes retreated to 7.72 million shares from 12.67 million on Monday and turnover fell to QAR 191.58 million versus QAR 333.89 million a day earlier.
The telecom markets led advanced sectors today with a 1.38% rise on Ooredoo (+1.6%).
The real estate sector added 0.53% thanks the rise of four stocks headed by Mazaya (+2.56%).
On the flipside, the industrial sector was 0.41% lower.
Vodafone was the most active stock in terms of volume and value with 3.48 million shares traded at QAR 33.36 million. The stock ended 0.32% higher.
