Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday’s session rising 0.52% or 51.19 points to the level of 5,867.94 points.
Trading volume increased 66.54% to 4.33 million shares from 2.6 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also rose by 41.56% to QAR 129.75 million from QAR 91.66 million.
The real estate sector topped the green list with a growth of 1.03%, backed by the rise in Ezdan Holding by 1.52%.
The banking sector also leapt by 0.68% as QNB, Masraf Al Rayan and QIB advanced by 0.65%, 0.88% and 0.64% respectively.
The telecom and transportation sectors grew by 0.32% for each.
On the other hand, the insurance and industrial sectors shrank by 0.24% and 0.08% respectively.
Dlala Holding was the most traded stock with a volume of 629,340 shares, while the Commercial Bank of Qatar made the highest liquidity of QAR 17.78 million.
