Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari bourse continued its negative performance on Sunday, as the main index fell 0.81% or 79.40 points to the level of 9,687.82 points in early trading.
Al Rayan Islamic Index dipped 0.32% to 3,573 points, and the All Shares Index slipped 0.80% to 2,585 points.
Trading value reached QAR 12.1 million through 444 trades on about 436,500 shares.
The banking sector came first in the red zone with a decline of 1.58%, while insurance was the top gainer with a 1.03% increase.
Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance was the best performer as it moved 5.79% higher, while Ahli Bank Qatar was the worst after diving 9.91%.
The benchmark index closed Thursday at the level of 9,767 points after dropping 3% or 303 points.
