Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined at Sunday’s open by 0.1% or 10.72 points to the level of 10,706.62 points.
Trading volume reached 1.08 million shares exchanged at QAR 26.18 million through 936 transactions.
By 10:00am Doha time, the transportation sector declined as Gulf Warehousing, the worst performer, shrank 3% and Nakilat fell 0.42%.
The banking sector retreated 0.43% as QNB, QIB and Commercial Bank of Qatar declined 0.49%, 0.13% and 0.15% respectively, while Islamic Holding topped gainers by adding 1.9%.
On the other hand, the telecom sector rose 0.54%, the real estate sector grew 0.13%, the industrial sector leapt 0.11% and the insurance sector ascended 0.01%.
