Doha-Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a positive performance in Tuesday’s early trades.
The general index went up 0.32% or 24.87 points to reach 9,735.23 points by 10:00am Qatar time.
The market was spurred by Ooredoo and Ezdan Holding Group which advanced 1.16% and 0.92% respectively.
Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding was the best performer after adding 1.24% to QAR 20.45, with a turnover of QAR 20,500 generated from the exchange of 1,000 shares.
The market saw trading of 48,259 through 96 transactions, with a turnover of QAR 1.4 million.
The real estate sector topped gainers after adding 0.53%, followed by the insurance and telecom sectors at 0.43% and 0.06, respectively.
On the flipside, the consumer goods and services sector was the worst performer after falling 0.68%, followed by the transportation and industrials sectors at 0.44% and 0.28%, respectively.
