Mubasher: A fake circular has gone viral on social media saying that Qatar will prohibit the entry of passengers arriving from Egypt, Oman, and Kuwait through intermediate points, including those having valid residence, on fears of the new coronavirus.
The Qatari Civil Aviation Authority denied reports about banning the entry of travellers from the three countries, according to a statement on Tuesday.
On Sunday, the GCC nation imposed a temporary entrance restriction on travellers from Egypt through intermediate points.
It is noteworthy to mention that the Qatari Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday four new cases of the new virus, bringing its total to seven.
