Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index fell at Wednesday’s close by 0.20% or 22.22 points to the level of 11,035.61 points.
Trading volume increased to 8.24 million shares from 7.43 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also rose to QAR 239.7 million from QAR 265.9 million.
The real estate sector dropped 0.66% due to a decrease of 0.69% in Ezdan; the industrial sector shrank 0.35% as Aamal fell 1.32%.
Meanwhile the banking sector grew 0.23% as Commercial Bank of Qatar, up 2.7%, topped gainers.
Woqod topped the red list after falling 1.96%
Masraf Al Rayan made the highest turnover of QAR 32.81 million, while Vodafone Qatar made the biggest trading volume activity with 1.9 million shares.
