Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose at Tuesday’s open by 0.11% or 7.9 points to the level of 10,340.35 points.
Trading volume reached 1.57 million shares exchanged by 10:03am Doha time through 691 trades, making a turnover of QAR 59.37 million.
The index was backed by the rise in QNB, Ezdan and Ooredoo by 0.64%, 0.19% and 1.44% respectively.
The telecom sector advanced 1.24%, the real estate sector ascended 0.45% and the banking sector leapt 0.16%.
On the other hand, the transportation sector dropped 0.69%, the consumer goods and services sector declined 0.56%, the industrial sector shrank 0.29% and the insurance sector fell 0.13%.
