Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose at Tuesday’s close by 0.98% or 107.49 points to the level of 11,057.83 points.
The index was supported by the rise in some blue chips as Ezdan, Industries Qatar and QNB advanced by 1.53%, 0.25% and 0.23% respectively.
Trading volume increased to 7.43 million shares from 7.25 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also rose to QAR 265.9 million from QAR 242.42 million.
The bourse’s sectors rose collectively, topped by the real estate sector (1.39%) and the banking sector (1.23%).
Masraf Al Rayan led the trading activity with a volume of 1.02 million shares exchanged at QAR 43.3 million.
