Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell at Sunday’s open by 0.21% or 21.92 points to the level of 10,405.99 points.
The index was pressured by the fall in most of blue chips as Ezdan, Masraf Al Rayan and BarwaReal Estate declined 0.57%, 0.53% and 0.46% respectively.
Trading volume reached 645,000 shares exchanged by 10:00am Doha time through 311 transactions, making a turnover of QAR 17.49 million.
The transportation sector dropped 0.62% as Nakilat shrank 0.78% and Gulf Warehousing, down 2.15%, was the worst performing stock.
The real estate sector slid 0.58%, the industrial sector fell 0.12% and the banking sector declined 0.08%.
On the other hand, the consumer goods and services sector rose 0.04%.
Islamic Holding Group, up 3.83%, topped the green list.
