Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined in Thursday’s early trading by 0.19% or 20.21 points to the level of 10,859.94 points.
Trading volume reached 729,710 shares exchanged at QAR 29.61 million, by 10:05am Doha time.
The banking sector dropped 0.36% due to a decrease of 3.23% in Al Khaliji Bank.
The industrial sector shrank 0.2% as National Cement fell 0.67%.
On the other hand, the consumer goods and services sector opened in green, backed by an increase of 1.03% in Salam International and 0.7% in Woqod.
Mesaieed made the biggest trading volume activity with 252,100 shares, while Woqod made the highest turnover of QAR 8.9 million.
Qatar Cinema topped losers after falling 6.3%, whereas Islamic Holding headed gainers by adding 1.4%.
