Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Monday’s session falling by 0.48% or 50.35 points to the level of 10,344.39 points.
Trading volume increased to 6.85 million shares from 4.978 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to QAR 159 million from QAR 125.28 million.
The real estate sector dropped 0.87% due to a 1.71% fall in Ezdan Holding. The banking sector shrank 0.35% as QNB declined 0.43%.
The telecom sector slid 1.15%, dragged by a fall of 1.36% and 0.11% in Ooredoo and Vodafone Qatar respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer goods sector rose 0.28%, backed by an increase of 3.03% in Qatari German Medical.
Vodafone Qatar led the trading activity with a volume of 2.03 million shares exchanged at QAR 19.1 million.
