Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), on Wednesday, leapt in early trading by 0.44% or 44.59 points to the level of 10,438.42 points.
Trading volume reached 900,170 exchanged at QAR 26.33 million.
The real estate sector advanced 0.8%, backed by an increase of 0.6% in Barwa Real Estate, and the banking sector levelled up 0.32% as Masraf Al Rayan, up 1.9%, was the best performer.
On the other hand, the services and transportation sectors fell 0.5% and 0.09% respectively as Medicare Group led decliners after falling by 1.8% and Gulf Warehousing shrank 0.9%.
Masraf Al Rayan made the biggest trading activity with a volume of 374,220 shares and a turnover of QAR 14.18 million.
