Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), on Thursday, rose in early trading by 0.11% or 11.3 points to the level of 10,700.08 points.
Trading volume reached 2.21 million shares exchanged at QAR 58.9 million.
By 10:00am Doha time, the real estate sector grew 0.46% as United Development leapt 0.92%; the industrial sector advanced 0.38% due to an increase of 2.44% in Aamal, the best performing stock.
On the flipside, the banking sector declined 0.34%, dragged by a 2.21% fall in Al Khaliji Bank, the worst performer.
The telecom sector shrank 0.08% as Ooredoo fell 0.19%.
Al Khaliji made the highest activity with a trading volume of 542,100 shares and a turnover of QAR 17.9 million.
