Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Monday’s session rising by 0.13% or 13.25 points to the level of 10,609.64 points.
Trading volume increased to 8.8 million shares from 6.6 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to QAR 238.9 million from QAR 167.6 million.
The real estate sector advanced 0.66%, backed by a rise of 1.73% in Barwa, 0.46% in Ezdan and 0.46% in Mazaya Qatar.
The industrial sector ascended 0.4% as Qatar Electricity and Water grew 1.97%.
On the other hand, the banking sector dropped 0.21% due to a decrease of 3.43% in Al Khaliji Bank, the top loser.
Gulf Warehousing topped gainers after adding 2.78%.
Vodafone Qatar made the biggest trading volume activity with 2.61 million shares, while Ezdan made the highest turnover of QAR 29 million.
