Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Central Bank (CBQ) said that it will offer government bonds worth QAR 3 billion ($823 million), Reuters reported on Monday citing a circular.
Allocations is set to take place on Tuesday.
CBQ will also offer three-year bonds worth QAR 1.5 billion with a return of 2.25% and five-year bonds valued at QAR 1 billion with a yield of 2.75%.
Additionally, the bank will offer seven-year bonds worth QAR 250 million with a return of 3.25% and ten-year bonds worth QAR 250 million with a yield of 3.75%.
Interest rates are similar to the last government bond sale in October, when CBQ sold bonds worth QAR 1.5 billion.
