Mubasher: Qatar increased its oil output by 16,100 barrels per day (bpd) in March 2018, against Organization Of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OPEC) decision of trimming oil production.
Qatari oil production rose to 606,000 bpd in the third month of 2018, compared to 590,000 barrel in February, according to OPEC’s report released on Thursday.
Over the course of the last month, six more countries decided to increase their oil production topped by the UAE with 44,900 bpd, followed by Nigeria and Guinea with 18,200 and 4,200 bpd, respectively.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia declined its crude output to 46,900 bpd, followed by Libya, Iraq with 37,200 bpd and 13,100 bpd, respectively.
OPEC's total crude oil output dropped by 201,000 bpd in March 2018, registering 31.96 million bpd.
