Qatar opens 4 warehousing parks

Mubasher: Qatar has opened four new warehousing parks in a bid to boost economic and commercial activities in the GCC country.

The prime minister inaugurated the Bu Sulba, Bu Fesseela, Umm Shaharaine 1, and Umm Shaharaine 2 warehousing parks, which were developed by private real estate companies,  in line with the government’s thrust to encourage public-private partnerships (PPPs) in major projects and the contribution of the private sector in the state’s development projects.

The companies comprised Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC), Al Asmakh Real Estate Development, Dohatna Logistics Parks, and Barwa Real Estate Group, respectively.

“The warehousing parks are set to become Qatar’s classic example of world-class logistic parks that reflect our trust in the private sector and its commitment to provide quality warehousing facility with the best of infrastructure, designs, construction quality, and connectivity,” Fahad Rashid al-Kaabi, Manateq CEO, said.

He added that these parks are set to become Qatar’s classic example of world-class logistic parks that reflect our trust in the private sector.

The company features quality warehousing facility with the best of infrastructure, designs, construction quality, and connectivity.
