Mubasher: The Qatari trade surplus surged 28.1% year-on-year to QAR 16.19 billion ($4.5 billion) in November.
Exports also soared 19.1% to QAR 25.69 billion last month versus QAR 21.57 billion in the comparative period of 2017, according to a report released by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS).
Hydrocarbon exports went up to QAR 15.4 billion in November, the report found.
Meanwhile, imports grew 6.4% to QAR 9.51 billion last month, compared to QAR 8.94 billion a year earlier.
