Mubasher – Qatar: Doha Bank said its board of directors decided Tuesday to raise capital in 2016 to fulfill strategic needs in business development.
The Doha-listed lender added that the instruments, increase percentage, value of shares and premium, as well as date of issue and any other related details would be announced after conducting required studies and obtaining necessary approvals.
Doha Bank earlier posted QAR 1.142 billion net profit for the first nine months of 2015, a rise of 0.66% from QAR 1.134 billion in the prior-year period.
