Doha – Mubasher: Qatar’s economy ministry has imposed a fine of QAR 1 million on Medicare Group.
The group violated commercial companies law by holding an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) before obtaining the approval of corporate supervisions department at the economy ministry.
The company’s EGM was postponed till 7 March for the lack of quorum.
Shareholders will consider amending the company’s articles of association in line with the new corporate law.
