Qatar - Decypha: Qatari’s QInvest investment group, in collaboration with SQN Capital Management, a global asset-based investor and fund manager, announced the launch of QInvest SQN Income Fund, according to a company press release.
The fund, which is oversubscribed, is a Sharia’a compliant closed-ended fund. According to QInvest, it aims to pay out a net yield of 7% per annum on a monthly basis. The fund in addition has an IRR target between 8% and 9%, with a tenure of 5 years.
QInvest, launched in April 2007, is a Qatari investment bank with operations across the Middle East and Europe. The firm has offices in Doha and Istanbul, as well as affiliates in India and the UK. The firm has authorized capital of US$ 1 billion and paid up capital of US$ 705,357,142.
SQN Capital Management (SQN), a multinational alternative investment manager company, is specialized in collateralized, non-correlated, income-producing investments. SQN has offices in New York and London.
