Mubasher: The Qatari bank assets increased 4.5% year-on-year in November, according to a report released by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Wednesday.
Bank assets reached QAR 1.393 trillion ($385.5 billion) last month, compared to QAR 1.333 trillion ($368.7 billion) in the same month a year ago.
Qatar’s bank assets rose 0.7% month-on-month in November, the QCB said.
The increase in bank assets was caused by the growth in loans during November, rising 0.4% year-on-year to QAR 940.8 billion.
Other assets went up 4.5% to QAR 23.1 billion last month, in comparison with the year-ago period, the central bank’s data showed.
