Qatar’s benchmark opens 23 points down

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index dropped in Wednesday’s early trading by about 0.23% or around 23 points, reaching the level of 10,374.26 points. 

QE Al Rayan Islamic Index rose 0.06% to 3,829 points, while the All Shares Index declined 0.10% to 2,762 points.

Trading volume came to 327,900 shares exchanged at QAR 12.9 million through 330 trades.

The real estate sector topped the green territory after advancing 0.27%, whereas insurance fell 2.65%.

Islamic Holding was the best performer in early trading as it grew 1.66%, while Qatar Insurance was the weakest with a decline of 3.80%.

Yesterday, the main index edged up 0.4 point to the level of 10,398.33 points.
