Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari cabinet approved on Thursday the draft state budget for the fiscal year 2016 and referred it to the consultative assembly (Shura Council), in presence of Prime Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The draft budget aims at achieving a sustainable economic, social, and human and environmental development as part of Qatar National Vision 2030 Plan.
The new draft also aims to guarantee the completion and implementation of major projects in key sectors; like health, education and infrastructure, as well as the 2022 World Cup related projects and strengthen non-oil sectors, in frame of the Qatar’s efforts to diversify the sources of income.
