Qatar’s gold reserve rises 42% in H1

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) posted on Tuesday a rise of 42.12% in its gold reserve to QAR 3.05 billion in the first half of the fiscal year 2016, versus QAR 2.14 million in the same period of 2015.

Qatar’s gold reserve also rose 10.46% compared to 2.91 million by the end of 2015, according to figures by QCB.

The bank said that its gold reserve volume hit in June its highest level since February.
