Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index advanced 0.2% or 20 points in Wednesday’s early trading, reaching the level of 10,318.07 points.
Al Rayan Islamic Index and the All Share Index also rose by 0.89% and 0.28% respectively.
Trading volume reached 3.25 million shares which were exchanged at QAR 119.8 million through executing 1,740 transactions.
Medicare Group was the best performing stock after adding 6.8%, while Islamic Holding topped losers by falling 4.9%.
Ezdan Holding was the most active stock in terms of trading volume with 1.14 million shares exchanged at QAR 22.53 million, rising 2.4%.
Meanwhile, Widam Food made the highest liquidity with QAR 24.61 million reached through exchanging 364,700 shares. The stock rose 1.05%.
The bourse’s main gauge closed yesterday with a rise of 0.64% or 65.87 point6s to the level of 10,297.39 points.
