Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s main index opened Thursday’s trading in green, as it reached the level of 10,321.87 points after rising about 1.03% or around 104 points.
Al Rayan Islamic Index also leapt by about 0.81% to 3,825 points, and the All Share Index jumped 0.89% to 2,746 points in early trading.
Trading value reached about QAR 78.6 million through 1,260 trades on around 2.1 million shares.
The insurance sector headed the green list with a growth of 2.73%, while the services sector was the lowest with 0.61% lower.
Aamal Holding was the best performer with a 4.13% increase, while Gulf Warehousing was the weakest share with a fall of 7.02%.
The benchmark index closed Wednesday with a rise of 0.42% to 10,217.19 points.
