Doha - Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index kicked off Tuesday trading at the level of 10,210.32 points after shrinking about 2% or 208 points.
QE Al Rayan Islamic Index also fell about 1.75% to 3,785 points, and the All Shares Index plummeted 1.85% to 2,724 points.
Trading value came to around QAR 43.2 million through 627 trades on 1.14 million shares in early trading.
The insurance sector topped the red list with 2.58%, followed by telecom as it moved 2.41% down.
National Medical Care was the top performer with a rise of 0.73$, while Doha Insurance was the weakest share after falling 4.27%.
QSE’s main index closed Monday with a decline of 0.78% or about 81.49 points, reaching the level of 10,418.47 points.
