Qatar’s market closes week in green

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari bourse’s main index closed Thursday in green at the level of 10,522.21 points, after rising by about 0.10% or 10.71points.

QE Al Rayan Islamic Index fell by about 0.13% to 3959.75 points, while the All Shares Index moved 0.11% up to 2808.42 points.

Trading value reached around QAR 192.77 million through about 3494 trades on 3.821 million shares.

Financial analyst Ayoub Eshban said that today’s support levels ranged between 10,450 and 10,500 points, while the resistances respectively tested the three levels of  10,600, 10,650 and 10,800 points.

The transportation sector advanced 1.54% to lead the gainers, while the services sector was the lowest with a drop of 0.56%.

Thursday’s trading saw 38 shares traded, 21 of them closed higher, 14 others moved down, and the three left were flat.

Gulf Warehousing Company headed the risers as it grew 5.55%, while Medicare Group was on top of the red list with a 3.23% decrease.

Qatar Gas Transport Limited saw the heaviest volume after 723,500 shares were traded, while Qatar National Bank made the highest liquidity which exceeded QAR 27 million.

The bourse’s main index closed yesterday with a 0.95% decrease to 10,511.50 points, after losing about 100.30 points.
