Mubasher: The number of Qatari new businesses increased by 6% month-on-month in December 2017, according to the ministry of economy and trade’s monthly bulletin.
The number of registered companies reached 2,570 companies in December 2017, compared to 2,430 a month earlier.
The limited liability companies topped the registered firms representing 63% of the total number, while corporations owned by a single person, the individual and foreign companies made up 27%, 9% and 1%, respectively, the ministry’s data showed.
