Mubasher: Qatar’s public-sector deposits fell QAR 26.8 billion ($7.366 billion) year-on-year in January, according to the monthly monetary bulletin released by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
The GCC nation’s government deposits registered QAR 269.8 billion ($74.16 billion) in January, compared to QAR 296.5 billion ($81.5 billion) in the same month a year earlier.
Month-on-month, Qatar’s public-sector deposits retreated QAR 12.16 billion ($3.34 billion), from QAR 282 billion ($77.5 billion) in December 2018.
