Qatar’s trade surplus with Japan hits $957m in February

Mubasher: The trade surplus between Qatar and Japan increased 0.8% year-on-year in February 2018, according to the monthly bulletin issued by the Japanese Finance Ministry.

The trade surplus reached JPY 100.69 billion ($956.6 million) in the previous month, official data released on Monday showed.

Qatar’s exports to Japan rose 0.2% to JPY 114.75 billion ($1.09 billion) in the second month of the year, the data founded.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s imports from Japan declined 3.5% year-on-year to JPY 14.06 billion ($133.6 million).
