Mubasher: Qatar’s Cabinet on Wednesday approved the establishment of a global Microsoft data centre called "Azure Cloud Computing" in the Gulf country.
The cabinet also approved establishing the Media City, which will focus on managing and developing media activity and act as an international media hub for technology companies and research and training institutions in the media and digital media fields.
The Media City will have its independent budget, according to a statement by the cabinet.
