Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange opened Sunday in green, as it soared 4.89% or 420.03 points to 9,004.04 points.
Al Rayan Islamic Index also rose 5.11% to 3,194 points, and the All Shares Index surged 4.64% to 2,393 points.
Turnover reached QAR 50.4 million through 887 transactions on 1.9 million shares.
The bourse’s main sectors were all in the green zone, topped by industrial and real estate with a growth of 5.54% and 5.20% respectively.
Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance was the best performing share as it increased 9.30%, while Gulf Warehousing was the worst with a decline of 4.09%.
The bourse’s main index closed Thursday with a drop of 1.21% or 105.36 points to the level of 8,584.01 points.
