Qatar to head Arab Investment Court

Mubasher: Qatar won the elections held on Wednesday at the secretariat general of the Arab League to head the Arab Investment Court.

Nasser Sultan Al-Asiri represented Qatar in these elections and Ali Al-Sulaiti was sworn in as a member of the court.

The 28 newly elected members were sworn in before the secretary-general of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit.  

The Arab Investment Court has jurisdiction to settle investment disputes among the Arab nations.
