Mubasher: The governor of the Qatar Central Bank said on Tuesday that a legal investigation has begun concerning manipulating the value of the Qatari riyal in the currencies, capital, and derivatives markets, after the Arab boycott.
Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani added in a statement that his country defend its economy, holding all those involved accountable.
The QAR recently declined to its lowest value since 1988, as the US dollar reached QAR 3.80.
