Mubasher: Qatar’s trade balance recorded QAR 40 billion surplus during the third quarter of 2015, compared with QAR 88 billion in the same quarter of 2014, showed data released by the planning and statistics ministry.
The GCC state recorded QAR 68.4 billion total exports (including local commodities and re-exported products) in the third quarter of 2015, down 40.6% or QAR 46.8 billion year-on-year from QAR 115.2 billion.
Meanwhile, the country’s imports rose by 4.3% or QAR 1.1 billion to QAR 28.3 billion, from QAR 27.2 billion in Q3-14.
