Doha - Mubasher: Qatargas announced on Wednesday that it has signed a new deal with Petronas UK Limited (PLUK), to supply 1.1 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas until 31 December 2023, according to the company’s statement.
The new five-year sale and purchase agreement (SPA), will renew and extent the current contract that is set to expire by the end of December 2018, the statement added.
Qatargas 4 (Train 7) is a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Shell, it began production on January 2011, and it will supply the liquefied natural gas until the end of the two agreements.
